6 Easy Summer Outfits That Always Look Pulled Together | Classic Casual Home

Summer has a way of sometimes making getting dressed feel harder. The heat is real (and for us in Florida so is the humidity). However, looking polished in summer doesn’t require much effort. It requires the right pieces, like a fresh, classic white tee-shirt.
Six Casual Outfits For Summer
These outfits are comfortable enough for the farmers market or a long lunch. And put-together enough that I never feel underdressed. A couple traveled with me to Singapore and Saigon and held up beautifully in that kind of humidity.
I’m joining Annie and Cindy for their takes on Summer fashion…which is always fun as we each have our own unique styles.
1. and 2. The Classic White Tee + Two Skirts (My All-Time Go-To)
This is my favorite outfit formula: a , fitted but not tight (in a medium here) tucked or half-tucked into a cool skirt.

Here I’m wearing it with a flowy that I love for its flattering fit with and a The skirt comes in tall, also.

This formula works with an entirely different skirt. In Singapore, in front of the Merlion fountain (read my full guide ), I wore t with a Maeve full red midi skirt and it feels completely different. I walked all over in those supportive and
The key is the tee. I keep a few on rotation so one is always fresh. My favorites are the (on sale now). I size up and have three. It’s thicker and dressier. I wash it on cold, air fluff in the dryer and hang it up damp to dry. Followed by , which is a nice fit and very soft. What are your favorite white tees?
3. Quince Linen Short Dress (Perfect for July 4th)
You may know, I’ve been a Quince convert for a while now. ($64) has a relaxed fit. I’m wearing an extra small (I’m 5’1″). There are lots of colors.

It is styled here with a Madewell printed neck scarf (two years old – ) tied loosely at the collar, and a (that also has a crossbody strap).
I may wear this to our July 3rd party this year. Yes, we celebrate a day early. It’s a tradition in our neighborhood as there is a Disney level fireworks display on the Third at the nearby country club.
4. Quince Linen Pants + Shirt Set
My sister loves the $36 (she has a few).

So this year, I ordered a set in olive, paired with easy $42 (that conveniently come in three lengths and in lots of colors–I wear the white pants a lot, even as a bathing suit cover-up). I added underneath the open shirt and a turquoise necklace (from my mother-in-law’s collection). The whole thing feels relaxed yet polished. These are
5. Breezy Green Print Dress with Pockets and a Great Hat

This is you throw on in the morning and feel ready to go (comes in regular, petite and tall).

I wore it with my by Eric Javits (on sale now–LOVE it). This well-made hat has UPF 50+ (blocks 98% UVA/UVB rays) and is rollable and packable.
Also, Lisi Lerch and necklaces and
6. The Embroidered Ivory Pull-over Caftan
The is comfortable for at-home entertaining or dinner at a resort.

The loose silhouette (in regular, tall and petite, I’m wearing a regular) manages to feel both casual and special at the same time. I paired it with and vintage turquoise beads.

All six of these outfits make getting dressed feel easy. Natural fabrics, relaxed shapes, comfortable shoes, some simple jewelry, and of course, a fresh white tee, go a long way as Summer heats up.

You always look great in the outfits you feature! I am just a little taller than you and about the same size, so thanks for some great ideas. I also live in Florida, and it makes a huge difference in fashion choices, as you know. I make most of my clothes and love sewing with linen, so I always appreciate seeing ready made garments that give me ideas:)

Being in Florida like you, that humidity can wilt us by day’s end, but all these outfits look so fresh! Adding those pretty summery-colored beads really keep your looks polished without seeming fussy! Great post!-
